About My Work

I move my hand over the surface of the image.
The pieces of the figure separate and reform,
join with other images,
become part of one another.
 
My women are thus composed of
the many pieces of our lives,
our individual and collective experiences.
 
Strength, vulnerability, knowledge, simplicity,
kind and unkind. No one is one dimension.
No one fails or succeeds as one, but as many.
We are all part of each other.
