Cindy Olmes

Cindy continually explores new painting styles and subject matter, but always gravitates to the female figure. Her latest imagery is the combination of decorative art paper and acrylic paint. These materials are layered and other techniques are used to create pattern and texture. In combining these materials Cindy explores the multiple layers  in each individual. If you look closely you will see many of the same papers used throughout her work. While the end result varies from piece to piece, it is interesting to note that as art mimics life, we may differ in appearance on the outside, but at our core, we are all made of the same stuff!
